Circus Antics at Norwich and Sheffield Rock and Roll Circus Festivals 2025
We had our team of amazing circus performers doing some fantastic circus acts at two Rock and Roll Circus Festivals this August. We have Aerialists, Acrobats, Fire performers, Stilt Walkers, Bubbleologists, Jugglers, Hula Hoopers, Circus Workshops
First festival was 14th-16th August in Norwich alongside big music acts McFly, The Courteeners, and Olly Murs. We had new performers join the circus this year including Marina Lurie doing bubble shows, Hula Hooper Angie Mac, Jugglers Matt Brown & Anton Mackman, Aerial performer Mike McCallum, Local stilt walkers Kate & Ollie as well as Matt and Tasha performing duo acrobatics. Back again this year for both festivals we had our mesmerising Fire show dream team Gemma Williams and Andy Wakeford, and aerial cloud swing Lucy and High Wire Walker Ellis Grover.. Thanks to our amazing rigging team and all the production crews for making it all happen.
Sheffield Rock and Roll was equally as fantastic and we performed alongside Queens of the Stone Age, Bryan Adams, James, Melanie C & Reverend and the Makers. New to the circus team were jugglers Nat White and Jago Parfitt. Matt and Tasha Duo acro. We also had Greentop Circus doing circus workshops, Aelfwyn doing bubbles, Charlotte performing Hula Hoop, aerialist’s Ellis, Lucy and Annie, stilt walkers Astra and Teph. We had a fab time performing on stage during Reverend and the makers' set on Saturday night. Our production manager Merlin also did some LED hula hoops too!
The tent literally rocked with energy and excitement - who knew Circus and Rock and Roll blended so well together. It was a thrilling experience indeed, the audience went crazy!
